Procedure for Checking Ventilation and Changing Filters

Annex 3 to the Danish Working Environment Authority’s guidelines on classification of laboratories, facilities, and production.

Among other things, the procedure may describe:

How the company should handle used filters. The method is the same as for GMO waste.
Which personal protective equipment and what special work clothes must be used when checking the ventilation and changing a filter.
Where to obtain protective equipment and work clothes.
How bags on air input systems for Classes 2-4 must be autoclaved when being changed or cleaned.
For Classes 2-4, the company must describe the ventilation and the procedures for changing filters.
